Riders note!

Each rider should carry spare tubes, water and some snack or energy bars to supplement foods provided by the Rotary Club! Start & finish is at Australia Park, South Albury. Also known as Noreuil Park or Paddlewheel Park.

Again we start and finish on the shady banks of the Murray River in Albury. Again this year we will offer two rides and even more rider support!

 

Ride 1 -6.00 am  Start  "Kancoona Climb"  A  184 km ride.

Route:

From Albury, via Wodonga, Mudgegonga, Rosewhite, Kancoona, Mongans Bridge over Kiewa River, via Gundowring Road, Lake Hume Village (and back into NSW). Then there is still a bit of climbing before we get  back down to the outskirts of Albury. There we detour through the scenic Mungabareena Reserve, and follow the road through South Albury to the start point.



Stops:

Stops along the way for refreshments include Mudgegonga, Mongans Bridge (lightlunch), Lake Hume Village, then back into Albury.

  

 

 

 


 

 

 



 


 

  

Ride 2 - 7.30 am Start "Kergunyah Cruise" 94 km

94km   START AND FINISH AT AUSTRALIA PARK

Start Time:

7.30 am   (Australia Park, South Albury.)

Route:

From Albury, via Wodonga, turning off the Murray Valley Highway at Bandiana, Kergunya, Gundowring Road, Red Bluff, Murray Valley Hwy, Lake Hume village, then return to Albury, via Mungabareena Reserve.

 


Stops:

First "pit stop" at Kergunyah  for toilets, fruit and water.
